Overview

Interactive performance inspired by West African Folktales for families with children 5 to 9 years old, followed by a fun creative workshop.

Join Binta Butterfly on her musical, magical quest in Heart Library to find her butterfly sisters!

Binta lives in a beautiful meadow which is destroyed after a great storm. The butterfly takes refuge in Heart Library which holds the key to Binta finding her sisters. She needs your help to decipher the clues and find the stories to write the next chapter of her life. Music, rhyme and song are part of the puzzle. Can you help Binta solve the rest of the puzzle? She needs you!

Written and performed by Paula David from the Rebel Tales Theatre. Image credit: Heather Smith.

This is an interactive event - the children in the audience will be invited to take part by helping decipher the clues, follow trails, search for stories and more.
