A FREE Kingdom Theology Event from WTC with speaker Dr Jared Michelson, Systematic Theology Professor.

'Evil, Suffering, and the Compassion of God'

Jared will be looking at Mark 5, bringing in some theological reflections on the problem of evil, and talking about theology as ‘apologetics’ (sometimes our ‘apologetic’ questions are best solved not by rationalistic arguments but by theology).

Doors open at 7pm, the event starts at 7.30pm.

Jared teaches on the module God through the Ages at WTC. He is a research fellow at the University of St Andrews and an ordained minister in the United Free Church of Scotland. He and his wife Becky have two young daughters. He has a BA in Bible and Church History from the Masters College, and an MLitt and PhD in Divinity from the University of St Andrews. He writes on matters broadly related to constructive systematic theology and is the author of ‘The Doctrine of God and the Crisis of Modernity’.
