Workshop 3: Trans+ sexual health – safer sex back-to-basicsOur third Trans+ Sexual Wellbeing Workshop is on 2/06/2026 at 6pm, where we will break down sexual health in a way that actually reflects trans+ bodies, hormones and lived experience.In this two-hour session we’ll explore:<ul><li>How hormones and surgery can affect sexual health</li><li>HIV and STIs - what you actually need to know</li><li>Testing options (including home testing and anonymous services)</li><li>PrEP, DoxyPEP, contraception and prevention</li><li>How sexual health links to mental wellbeing</li></ul>We’ll talk honestly about how accessing sexual health services can feel, how stigma shows up in healthcare, and how to advocate for yourself. You’ll leave with:<ul><li>Clear, up-to-date information that applies to trans+ lives</li><li>Greater confidence navigating sexual health services</li><li>Understanding of how hormones, surgery and mental wellbeing connect to sexual health</li><li>Tools and language to support yourself and others</li></ul> The workshop isn’t a clinical lecture, it isn’t an awkward sex ed class, and it definitely isn’t judgmental. It’s real conversations, real support, and real connection with people who share your lived experiences as a trans+ person.Workshops are open to trans+ people aged 18+ who live, work or socialise in Lambeth, Southwark or Lewisham.This is a trans+ space: inclusive, affirming, and respectful.
