Carousel Printmaking Studio is an accessible community space providing opportunities for artists and the wider community to access quality printmaking equipment facilities and education. Though volunteer led we also offer work opportunities to local artists and educators through our programme of regular practical workshops.

In this engaging and interactive full day workshop, you'll dive headfirst into the captivating world of Tetra Pak printing.This innovative technique not only ignites your creativity but also champions sustainability by repurposing materials into remarkable works of art.Whether you're a seasoned artist looking to try a new technique or a curious beginner eager to explore new creative horizons, this taster class offers a welcoming space for all to come together and unleash their artistic potential.Ideal for anyone with an interest, no prior printmaking experience required. Create unique prints to take home and frame.

What will I need to bring?All materials and equipment will be provided.Please wear old clothes as printing can get messy. No sandals, heels or open toed shoes. Aprons will be provided.Teas, coffees and biscuits are provided.

About the tutor<a href="https://shirley-stevenson.com/" title="https://shirley-stevenson.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Shirley Stevenson</a> is an artist and printmaker, working with drawing, paint, collage and print media. Shirley is vastly experienced at teaching printmaking, and brings her wealth of knowledge, gentle manner and encouragement to all she does.

About Carousel Print StudioCarousel Print Studio is a not for profit charity based on the ground floor of Exchange Place Studios in Castlegate, Sheffield. Carousel printmaking workshops and facilities for creatives in Sheffield, in a bright, warm, accessible and well equipped printmaking studio.Carousel is located on the ground floor just to the left of reception.
