A Journey Through the Night Sky at Blyth Hall
A relaxed, late-night experience designed for those who want to fully experience the magic of the cosmos.
A Journey Through the Night Sky at Blyth Hall
Join us for a stellar evening at Blyth Hall! Dive into the wonders of the cosmos with exciting talks by astronomy experts and get hands-on experience with powerful telescopes. Whether you're a seasoned stargazer or just curious, this in-person event is perfect for all space lovers. Finger food and unlimited hot drinks are also included in your ticket. Bring your friends and family and let's explore the universe together under the night sky!
A note on the weather. Clear skies are essential for telescope viewing, and the English weather has its own ideas. Should cloud cover make the stargazing impossible on the night, we will reschedule the whole event to our reserved backup date of Wednesday, 24 June 2026. We'll keep all ticket holders updated well in advance if rescheduling becomes necessary, and your ticket will automatically carry across to the new date.
Places are strictly limited. Wrap up warm, bring your sense of wonder, and join us for a night to remember.
Want to make a full night of it? A limited number of premium overnight packages are also available for those who'd like to stay at Blyth Hall after the event, including a private bedroom and breakfast the following morning. These packages are booked directly with us rather than through Eventbrite, and availability is very limited — please email info@blyth-hall.co.uk or get in touch via www.blyth-hall.co.uk to enquire.

Are Aliens Closer than You Think?
A talk by Dr Sarah Crick, the director and lead tutor of Just Good Science Ltd–a company that is building a thriving community of great scientists through bespoke tuition, innovative courses and inspirational public talks. She graduated from University of Cambridge with a PhD in Astronomy, and has a lot of experience in teaching and scientific communication. In this talk, we will be focusing on life, and possible places in the Solar System that life could be thriving right under our noses. This talk includes a tour of the Solar System, in particular the moons with under crust oceans that orbit the gas giants of the Solar System. We explore what is life, what conditions it needs to exist and where those conditions exist in our Solar System. Some space missions that are being planned to investigate this puzzle will also be described in this talk.

Sky Exploration with Telescopes
Led by Jordan Mansfield, Nova Stargazing is a leading expert in stargazing and night sky exploration. Starting off with a tour of the familiar and unfamiliar constellations and point out particular things in the sky that stand out with a variety of stories, with the idea being that next time you step outside the constellations will appear more like familiar friends rather than distant strangers. Once we have toured the naked eye objects visible, it's time to get down to some solar system observing to start. Then its time to show what our larger aperture telescopes and equipment can really do as we deep dive into the deep sky objects, taking you on an incredible tour across the universe using an array of telescopes to show you the many incredible sights, each one has its strengths and whether its bright stars to binary/trinary system, to the larger open clusters, or the ancient globulars, people will see things they would never have seen otherwise.
