How can I find the venue?

The address to follow is 61 Amhurst Road, E8 1LL. The space is on the main road, next to a barbershop called Funky. It takes about 3 minutes to walk from Hackney Central/Downs overground station. There is a big sign above the door saying Studio Iris.

Question 2

What kind of energy healing does this event feature?

Accepted Answer

Each event may have a different group of facilitators and each will bring "their own medicine". We are all practitioners of reiki, but will come from different lineages. Some of us may be working with kundalini energy, quantum and/or have a more shamanic channeling style and/or psychic guidance.

Question 3

What will the energy healing and transmission feel like?

Accepted Answer

Receiving energy healing is typically very gentle and deeply relaxing. You may experience the energy as warm soothing sensations, as tingling or vibrating movements flowing through or around your body, you may enter a deep meditative state. It varies from person to person and one day to the next :)

Question 4

Can I attend more than one session in a day?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you are welcome to attend several sessions. If they are back-to-back sessions, you can stay on your mat and meditate during the short break time, but please note we will be silently moving, clearing and resetting the space around you.

Is this suitable for children/teenagers?

Accepted Answer

Young people are welcome, but they should be able to stay quiet and still for the 45-min session. Please message us first so we can understand why you’d like your child to attend and ensure this is the right setting for them.

Question 6

Can I attend if I’m pregnant / have a health condition?

Accepted Answer

Reiki and energy healing support many health conditions and aid recovery. It’s safe in pregnancy. If you have epilepsy, seizures, or severe mental health issues, please check with your doctor first. Reiki complements but does not replace medical care.
