Overview

An in person event in partnership with CHWA

Join GEM and CHWA for an in-person day dedicated to exploring how health and wellbeing can be embedded in museums. This day is organised as part of the legacy of the GEM and CHWA Working Together project.

Working Together was an 18-month Creative Health programme (2023–2025), supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and co-delivered by CHWA and GEM. It supported six partner museums and heritage organisations—selected for their commitment to working with underserved communities—to embed Creative Health practice. Each organisation developed a pilot project in response to local health and social needs, working within a supportive network.

The day will include an overview of the Working Together project, focusing on the key findings outlined in the impact report. It will also include talks and workshops by other organisations across Scotland and the rest of the UK who are embedding health and wellbeing into their programmes.

A detailed programme of the day will be released soon.

Lunch will be provided and participants can enjoy a tour of the Scottish Maritime Museum.

GEM Members £25, non members, £30.
