Overview

A webinar for educators focused on challenging homophobic bullying in schools

This webinar explores how to effectively challenge homophobic bullying in schools, with a particular focus on the use of the word “gay” as an insult. The session will cover both reactive and proactive approaches, offering practical strategies to address and prevent harmful language and behaviour.

Drawing on our direct work with schools, as well as guidance from Respect for All, we will share examples of what is proven to work across Scotland, helping educators create safer and more inclusive environments for all learners.
