2-day MHFA England Adult course: learn to spot mental health concerns, support conversations, and guide people to professional help.
This MHFA England‑approved two‑day Adult Mental Health First Aid course equips managers and workplace teams with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to act as Mental Health First Aiders.
Over the course of two days, participants learn how to recognise the early signs of mental health challenges, approach sensitive conversations with confidence, and support individuals in accessing appropriate professional help.

Course content

DAY 1 - Tuesday 6 May, 9am-5pm
Session 1
Introduction to mental health and the MHFA action plan, self‑care, mental health language, and stress.
Session 2
Understanding anxiety, eating disorders, substance misuse and self‑harm, alongside developing active listening skills.
DAY 2 - Wednesday 7 May, 9am-5pm
Session 3
Exploration of depression, suicide awareness, and psychosis.
Session 4
Focus on recovery, setting healthy boundaries, and confidently continuing your role as a Mental Health First Aider.
