We are approaching the DSPT deadline for replblication on 30th June. To make sure everything is ready in plenty of time, we strongly advise that you start work. on it now, if you have not done already. We will be running regular weekly DSPT workshops in May and June to help you republish. .
All CQC-regulated adult social care providers in England must complete the DSPT. This is a legal requirement under the Health and Social Care Act 2012, as amended by the Health and Care Act 2022.
This friendly, practical workshop is for adult social care providers in Sussex who need support with their DSPT republishing. Delivered by your local Sussex Digital In Reach Team, the session will help you get started, understand what needs updating, and make progress in a supportive environment.
Starting early is important. The DSPT needs to be reviewed, updated and republished every year - if it is not, it goes out of date and becomes invalid. If there have been any changes in your service, such as staffing, systems or technology, these may also need to be reflected in your submission. Giving yourself enough time now can make the whole process much more manageable and help avoid last-minute pressure.
