What do I need to bring/wear?

We suggest wearing loose, comfortable clothing to help you relax. The hall is heated, but dressing in layers will allow you to adjust to your comfort level. Bringing a bottle of water is also a good idea. You’re also welcome to bring any additional blankets or pillows for extra comfort.

What is included in the YIN bed?

Each YIN bed includes a soft mattress, a pillow, a cosy blanket, a silky eye mask and aromatherapy-infused bath salts. The hall is heated, but we recommend wearing layers. Additional blankets or pillows are welcome. All YIN bed items are freshly washed to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness.

Are sound baths safe for everyone?

Sound baths are generally safe and deeply relaxing, but they may not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions, such as pregnancy, heart conditions, epilepsy, sensitivity to vibration, or certain mental health conditions that could be triggered by intense sensory experiences.

What should I do if I have concerns?

Please contact us prior to the event with any allergies to essential oils, mobility concerns, or sensitivities so we can help ensure a safe and comfortable experience.

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to settle in, choose your spot or YIN bed and get comfortable before the session begins. Please note: Doors will open no earlier than 6.50pm

Is the venue accessible?

The hall is wheelchair accessible, and we’re happy to help make your experience as comfortable as possible. Please contact us in advance to discuss any specific accommodations.

Is parking available?

There is normally off-street parking, but there are also two free public car parks nearby. Market Place car park and another one at the rec by Selwyn Hall (SN13 8NR)

Located in the heart of Box, Box Methodist Church sits prominently on the main road at the corner of Chapel Lane , a welcoming and easily accessible venue. While sessions are held at Box Methodist Church, our sound baths are completely non-religious and focus solely on relaxation and wellbeing.
