Alberto Sosa-Cabanas is a Cuban-born scholar of Caribbean and Latin American literature and culture and Assistant Professor at Hampton University. His work examines race, scientific thought, and cultural production in the Hispanic Caribbean. He has published extensively in leading journals and is editor of the recently published El Monte’s New Itineraries (2026).
