About this Event

Event Description:

Let's Walk - Camden to Little Venice Canal Walk

2.30pm Tuesday 19th May 2026 Duration: 2.5 hours

Start point: The entrance of The Ice Wharf - JD Wetherspoon, 28A, 28B Jamestown Rd, London, NW1 7BY (What3Words:///stable.before.unwanted)

End point: The finish will be on the towpath on the north side of Browning’s Pool at Little Venice.

The walk, run by Canal & River Trust, will be led by volunteer walk leaders who are full of interesting information about the local area.

Please join us for a fun leisurely walk along the canal. You'll learn a lot and meet new people!

The walk is about two miles, ending at around 5pm.

You can use the tube to move on or visit a local historic traditional London pub (self-funded).

The walk has three slopes so might not be wheelchair accessible without assistance. The first slopes are to cross the footbridge at Camden. There is a third steep slope to cross the top of Maida Hill tunnel.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The great thing about walking is that you do not need any fancy equipment. Please just wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket if raining. However with all the fallen leaves the tow path (even if it is not raining) it can be muddy/slippy so stout shoes are really required (stronger than recommended).

Book now

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .

Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.

If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part.
