Learn how to separate an image into three different colours and rebuild the image using silk screen printing and stencils. Bring a couple of A4 images that you’d like to convert to a three colour graphic – this may be a photograph you’ve taken, one you’ve found in a book, or a collage. Photographic images tend to work better than drawings.

Screen printing is an exciting technique that uses a squeegee to push ink through a mesh onto a surface. Designs are created with paper stencils, and produce brightly coloured, graphic effects which can be seen on posters, T-shirts and original editioned prints.
