DSPT Support Sessions Ahead of the 30 June Deadline
Support with your DSPT, focused on the areas providers find most difficult. Free May sessions ahead of the 30 June deadline.
With the 30 June deadline approaching, you may be finding that some parts of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit are not as straightforward as you would like.
The Sussex Digital in Reach Team, your local support organisation and delivery partner of the Digital Care Hub, is running free, practical support sessions throughout May for adult social care providers.
These sessions are fully funded by the Department of Health and Social Care through the Better Security, Better Care programme, delivered by the Digital Care Hub. They are focused on offering support and helping you make progress with your DSPT. There is nothing being sold.
What these sessions are about
Each session will focus on areas of the DSPT that providers often find most challenging, with clear and straightforward guidance to help you move forward.
We will cover topics such as:
- Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)
- Information Asset Register (IAR)
- Business Continuity Planning
- National Data Opt-Out
- Digital Asset Registers
- Other areas of the DSPT you may be unsure about
There will also be time to ask questions and talk through any specific issues.
If there are particular areas of the DSPT you would like us to cover, please let us know by email or by completing the question in the booking form.
Who should attend
These sessions are for anyone in adult social care involved in completing or supporting the DSPT, including:
- Registered managers
- Administrative staff
- Data protection or information governance leads
