Overview

Free advice for grassroots groups at libraries across Bradford. Book a slot or drop in for support on governance, funding & volunteering!

Community Action Bradford and District is launching an exciting 6-month outreach pilot programme, bringing specialist advice directly to you!

What We Offer: Our Development Officers will be available at libraries across all 5 constituencies weekly, plus monthly online sessions, to provide on-the-spot expertise for your burning questions.

Who Should Attend: Perfect for new and grassroots groups seeking 1:1 advice on:

  • Governance and policies
  • Volunteering (recruitment, supervision, training)
  • Safeguarding
  • Funding and fundraising
  • Training and upskilling
  • Payroll
  • Networking
  • And much more!

How It Works:

  • Book a 15-minute time slot (book multiple slots if you need longer)
  • Meet with one of our resident Development Officers
  • Get immediate support or signposting to specialist help
  • Arrange follow-up visits if needed
  • Pop in on the day if a Development Officer has availability (though booking ahead guarantees your spot!)

Whether you need quick advice or in-depth guidance, we're here to help your organisation thrive!

Please book your ticket for a specific time slot

When booking your ticket, you'll need to select a particular period for your visit. Each ticket is valid for one time slot only.

If you think you'll need more time than a single slot allows, please book two consecutive tickets. This will ensure you have enough time to complete your visit without feeling rushed.

Whilst drop-ins are accepted, you may need to wait until the Development officer is available. Better to book!
