Join us for a relaxed conversation with Jay Zorenti-Nakhid, as part of our online programme for creatives navigating careers in the mainstream sector.


Currently Associate Director at the Belgrade Theatre, Jay will share insights from their journey from directing into leadership, reflecting on the creative and practical realities of working across theatre spaces. We’ll also explore culture and intersectionality, and how lived experience shapes artistic vision and leadership.


This is an informal session with space to listen, reflect and ask questions with plenty to take away for your own practice.

About Jay:

Jay is currently the Associate Director at The Belgrade Theatre Coventry. Previously Tobacco Factory Theatres Associate Director. Over the past 15 years he has created & directed a wide range of theatre projects across the UK as well as in Rwanda, India and Vietnam. Jay believes in the transformative nature of Theatre, platforming local artists as well as the counter narratives of society.
