Shape Digital Inclusion in Later life Services: VCSE Practice & Learning
VCSE session sharing best practice on digital inclusion & health inequalities working with older people, shaping London Health Mission work.
This event wants to bring together VCSE organisations working with older residents across London to feed into the work of the London Health Mission Board around digital inclusion and health inequalities.
The Health Mission wants to “Significantly close the gap in health inequalities in our city, utilising London's innovation and digital transformation opportunities by 2035”. We know that the Voluntary and Community Sector holds a huge amount of expertise in this area and we are keen to learn from you what works and should be scaled and supported.
Older people have been identified by partner organisation DEMOS as particularly affected by digital excusion, through their recent reaserch and scoping exercise.
We would like to invite London charities and organisations supporting older people to share best practice on overcoming digital inclusion barriers, hear updates from the GLA London Health Mission Board and related research, and help shape future priorities and approaches for addressing digital exclusion in later life.
Policymakers (including GLA colleagues) and funders will also be invited.
A Teams invitation will be emailed to attendees after they book.
