World Flavours Dining Experience from Refugee Chefs
This evening will immerse you in food, music and art, all produced by people from a refugee background.
The charm of Pan’s new centre in Vauxhall lends itself perfectly to a dinner and an introduction to the space and the wealth of Pan’s work.
The delicious dinner will be provided by refugee chefs who are trained by Plateful Café to the highest standards, bringing you food from their regions.
After an introduction to Pan’s work for wellbeing and integration of marginalised people, our own award winning Amies Freedom Choir, women who have survived trafficking, will give you a taste of their singing before you have a tour of the exhibition.
The exhibition 'Through Our Eyes' has been curated by Pan’s Artistic Director for On the Fringe, showcasing emerging refugees’ artwork showing the range of styles and stories which come under this single label - refugee. Each refugee is an individual and those who develop their artistic identities bring us art from descriptive to abstract, from digital to ceramic, from celebratory to self reflective.
