Hopeman Bioblitz Battle! - National Rockpool Challenge

The Big Rock Pool Challenge engages communities by exploring the incredible marine biodiversity along the UK coastline.

This is a Big Rock Pool Challenge pilot event being run by Moray Ocean Community. This is a private event for MOC volunteers and will take place at East Beach, Hopeman in front of the beach huts. Once you have signed up via the app, you will be able to use it create/join a team and check your score. You can find an app user guide here: https://www.therockpoolproject.co.uk/bioblitz-battle-app-guide

Then, all you need to do during the event is to record observations via iNaturalist, and they will automatically be added to the game.

BioBlitz Battles last for 90 minutes, and you should record any and all species you find during that time. We will meet at 9.30 to introduce the bioblitz an get everyone set up ready to start the bioblitz battle at 10am!
