Let's Walk - Milton Keynes

Start point and end: Meet at the Woughton Ouzel Valley car park, Newport Rd, Woughton-on-the-Green, Milton Keynes MK6 3EP.

The walk, run by Canal & River Trust, will be led by volunteer walk leaders who are full of interesting information about the local area.

Please join us for a fun leisurely walk along the canal. You'll learn a lot and meet new people!

We will join the canal at Peartree Bridge and follow it south to MK Marina. We then cut across Woughton on the Green to follow the Ouzel valley Park and the River Ouzel back to our starting point.

This is an easy walk, mostly along surfaced paths. It should take about 1 hour 30 minutes.

The great thing about walking is that you do not need any fancy equipment. Please just wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket if raining. However with all the fallen leaves the tow path (even if it is not raining) it can be muddy/slippy so stout shoes are really required (stronger than recommended).

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .

Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.

If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
