Conscious Dating & Relating | Love Begins With You

Conscious Dating & Relating | Love Begins With You

The Loft at Little DippersBrighton and Hove, England
Sunday, June 28  •  1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Overview

A guided, interactive workshop exploring love, dating, intimacy, communication, and authentic connection — open to all.

Whether you are single, dating, in a relationship, or somewhere in between, this workshop is for anyone who wants to understand themselves more deeply in connection and build relationships rooted in honesty, presence, and genuine care.

What This Workshop Is About

Many of us carry hidden pressures around love:

  • To find “the one”
  • To be chosen
  • To avoid being alone
  • To make a relationship work
  • To fit into ideas of what love “should” look like

These pressures can lead us to people-please, hide parts of ourselves, ignore our needs, or perform a version of love that does not feel fully true.

This workshop is an opportunity to slow down, notice your patterns, and explore what authentic connection means for you.

What We’ll Explore

Through guided exercises, reflection, and real-time connection, we’ll explore:

  • Modern dating and relationship patterns
  • What we long for in love and connection
  • Needs, values, desires, and boundaries
  • Emotional honesty and self-expression
  • Intimacy, vulnerability, and trust
  • Respectful, consensual touch
  • How to stay connected without losing yourself

What to Expect

This is not a lecture or a dating event. It is an experiential workshop where you’ll be invited to practice connection in a safe, respectful group setting.

You can expect:

  • Guided meditation and grounding
  • Pair exercises
  • Small group activities
  • Full-circle sharing
  • Relational games
  • Embodied practices
  • Time for tea, breaks, and informal conversation

Everything is optional. You are always welcome to pass, pause, adapt, or take care of yourself in the way that feels right.

Who This Is For

This workshop is open to:

  • Singles
  • Couples
  • People dating
  • People healing from past relationship patterns
  • People wanting deeper intimacy
  • People curious about conscious relating
  • Anyone wanting more honest, fulfilling connection

No prior experience is needed.

What You May Take Away

You may leave with:

  • More clarity around what you want in connection
  • Greater awareness of your relationship patterns
  • More confidence expressing needs and boundaries
  • A deeper connection with yourself
  • New ways to communicate with honesty and care
  • A felt experience of being seen, heard, and met

What Is Authentic Relating?

Authentic Relating is the practice of being real with yourself and others.

It invites honesty, presence, deep listening, emotional awareness, and connection without masks or performance.

At ARE, we blend Authentic Relating with meditation, psychological insight, and embodied practices to create spaces where connection can be explored directly — not just talked about.

About Our Events

Each ARE session is different, but the intention remains the same:

to deepen connection with yourself and others through awareness, embodiment, and authentic relating.

Our workshops are warm, respectful, and gently challenging. They are designed to support real connection while giving each person choice, agency, and space to move at their own pace.
