Art from the Earth: Creative Up-cycling Workshop
Join a sustainable art workshop for all ages! Create a communal mural using soil, flowers, and food pigments with Ima from Feelasphy.com
Discover the hidden colours of your local environment at Art from the Earth: The Living Palette. This community-led creative workshop invites residents from Hounslow, Ealing, and beyond to reconnect with nature through hands-on, eco-friendly art.
Co-led by artist Ariane of FWT and Imaneh Far from Feelasphy.com, this session blends environmental exploration with creativity. We believe the earth is our greatest art supply. In this workshop, you won’t just paint a mural—you’ll help build the very palette we use.🎨
What you will do:
- Extract Natural Pigments: Learn the alchemy of turning food scraps, local soil, leaves, and flowers into vibrant paints.
- Earth-Based Collage: Use natural textures and "found" materials to build a unique, tactile masterpiece.
- Collaborative Mural: Come together to contribute to a large-scale communal mural that celebrates our shared environment and community spirit.
👨👩👧👦 A Family-Friendly Creative Experience
This workshop is open to all men and women. We highly encourage families to attend!
- Children (Ages 7+): Must be accompanied by a parent or carer.
- Collaborative Activity: This is designed as a "side-by-side" experience for parents and children to bond over a shared creative goal.
🌿 Why attend?
- Sustainability Skills: Learn eco-conscious art techniques you can replicate at home.
- Wellness & Connection: Use the "Feelasphy" approach to explore how working with earth materials can ground us and improve our well-being.
- No Experience Required: All materials are provided, and no prior art skills are needed.
Good to know:
- What to wear: Things might get a little messy! Please wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit of "earth" or paint on.
- Safety & Care: All ingredients are natural and non-toxic.
