The Seasons of Womanhood - Film screening and live community conversation
Join us as we explore the season of menopause, centring real experiences and shared stories from the Black and Brown community.
We welcome you to join us for a screening of a film called 'The M Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause , a groundbreaking 2024 documentary exposing the neglected crisis of menopause care, highlighting how systemic medical failings and societal silence impact women's health, careers, and well-being.
The screening will be followed by open discussion led by Marcia Jones, Dr. Yansie Rolston and Birthing in Colour, centring real experiences and shared stories from the Black and Brown community.
The evening will end with Our Menopause, Dr. Yansie Rolston’s powerful film about Black women’s experiences.
Light refreshments will be provided.
