Low Tide Table "Octopus & Chorizo"

Saffron baked rice with braised Gerrans Bay octopus and Cornish chorizo, eaten at a long table on the beach at low tide.

Huge 1.2m pans of saffron rice baked over wood-fires with slow-braised Gerrans Bay octopus and Cornish chorizo, with scorched peppers, tomato & Pedro Ximénez sauce and summer leaf salad.

This one is naturally gluten, dairy and nut free.

We are a small venue with limited places and demand for these evenings is often higher than we can meet. Sometimes ticket status may go straight to sold out at 12 noon. Therefore we advise against making firm plans around attending at feast night until you have sucessfully purchased tickets.

Vegetarians are always catered for, even on meat/fish-centered feasts - please email info@hiddenhut.co.uk after booking to let us know if any of your party are vegetarian. Same for special dietary requirements - we'll do our best to accommodate your needs, just let us know in advance.

Children are very welcome. Ticket prices are per standard portion so if you're happy for them to share yours or vice versa or with each other, please just order as many portions (i.e. tickets) you feel you'll need.

Event starts at 7pm, with food served around 7.30ish.

Bring your own bowl and cutlery. Hammers & picks provided.

Seating provided, however cushions, rugs and torches may also come in useful – please feel free to bring anything for extra comfort.

Please also feel free to bring your own alcohol.

Hot drinks, soft drinks, pre-feast savoury snacks & homemade cakes will be available for sale on the night.

Dress well for the weather and wear suitable footwear for potentially sandy/wet ground depending on the season.

Dogs are welcome to join. The beach is dog-friendly year round
