Exploring the Nickey Line - Guided Walk
Exploring the Nickey Line - Guided Walk
Join us for a guide walk, lead by Friends of the Nickey Line. Volunteers from Friends of the Nickey Line invest a lot of time maintaining the Nickey Line to maximise users of the Line's enjoyment and are proud of the results.
The walk will be about 1 and 1/2 hours and will start and finish at the "5 ways junction" outside of Harpenden.
Date and time: Monday 13 July 2026 7.30-9pm
Starting Point: the "5 ways" footpath junction. The starting point can be reached on foot from Rothamsted Park, Townsend Lane or via joining the Nickey line at any of the joining points (eg in Harpenden or Redbourn)
Numbers for the walk are very limited, so if you find that you are unable to attend please let us know so that someone can have the place.
Following the walk: there will be an opportuunity to continue discussions at a pub in central Harpenden.
