Overview

First Response (10A Life Support, Major Illness, Trauma and Injury)

First Response

This module in total aims to cover the skills and knowledge necessary to enable adults to manage an incident and provide basic first aid. Suitable for first-timers and as your 3 year renewal.

This is the follow-up to the e-learning which you must have completed. It will develop and check in on what you learnt. Following this session you will need to attend a 20 minute face to face practical session covering the practical elements of the life support training.

To complete the e-learning you will find it in the ‘Explore Learning’ section of My Learning – from there, enrol yourself, and complete the course. The e-learning must be completed at least 7 days prior to the course. The learning administrator will check that this has been completed prior to attendance at the course.
