Poisons in the Pages — Curator of Natural History Lauren Field delves into the deadly plants that feature throughout Christie’s novels, taking a close look at specimens from our own botanical collection at the museum.

Agatha Christie’s Legacy in Crime Fiction — Crime author and President of the Detection Club Martin Edwards discusses Christie’s influence on the genre and how her innovations continue to shape crime writing today.

Archaeology in Agatha Christie’s World — Curator of Archaeology, World Cultures and Egypt, Ian Trumble explores the real archaeological work that inspired Christie’s settings and characters.

Death on the Nile and Beyond— Egyptologist Joann Fletcher examines the cultural and historical background to Christie’s Egyptian-inspired works including her most iconic archaeological mystery

  • Ticket holders for the morning session or afternoon sessions will be only able to attend the session indicated on their tickets.
