This session will be hosted by Rachel Johnson from SAFEcic.

This interactive session is designed for managers, staff, and volunteers who work directly with children, young people, adults at risk, or their families and carers. It focuses on understanding and maintaining appropriate professional boundaries, helping you feel confident in your role and responsibilities.

Please note that participants are expected to have up‑to‑date safeguarding training before attending.

By the end of the session, you’ll have:

  • A clearer understanding of duty of care and the standards expected when supporting people who may be at risk
  • Explored situations that can challenge professional boundaries in practice
  • Discussed realistic scenarios and how to respond if concerns arise
