Do I Need to Bring Anything

Accepted Answer

Yes, please Bring a Yoga Mat and cosy cover and anything else that will make you feel comfortable, such as a pillow sleeping bag, eye mask. If, however, you do not have a yoga mat please contact, me I may be able to arrange to bring a spare one.

What Should I Wear

Wear loose comfortable clothing, bring some extra layers so you can adjust your warmth throughout the session.

Do I Need To Know How To Meditate

Accepted Answer

No, you do not need to know how to meditate to attend a sound bath, there is no skill needed all you have to do is be seated or lie down on your yoga mat, and allow the soothing sounds and vibrates wash over and around you.

What Happens At A Sound Bath

Accepted Answer

Participants lie on a yoga mat on the floor covered with their cosy blanket, there is a short meditation to help you find a deep rest and relaxation zone. Then I create a sonic landscape using the singing bowls, drums, gongs, chimes, I walk around the room, at times sounds may feel near or far.

Why Come to a Sound Bath

Sound baths are a gentle yet powerful wellness practice, helping to bring the body into a deep rest, calming for the nervous system helping your body from fight or flight to rest and digest so helps with stress and anxiety, and the lowering of cortisol and blood pressure.

Question 6

Who Should Not Attend a Sound Bath

Accepted Answer

Sound healing is a gentle self-healing promoting practice; however, it is not recommended if you are in your first trimester of pregnancy, those that have sound sensitivity, epilepsy, metal implants, or any one suffering with severe mental illness.

Do People Fall Asleep At Sound Baths

Accepted Answer

Yes, it has been known on many of our sound baths that people have been so deeply relaxed that they have fallen asleep.

Where Can I Park Or Can I Use Publish Transport

Accepted Answer

There is free parking on the roads after 6.30pm, the venue is easy to reach by public transports the buses that entre into Cheam village are 213, 151, S2, there is also parking available at the Cheam library.

Can I Pay At The Venue

Accepted Answer

The Tickets for this event are limited and we would prefer if you book tickets before coming to the venue. This ensures that everyone has enough personal space and the session does not get over crowed and uncomfortable, it also allows us to be able to walk freely around while we play.
