This is for anyone new to Information Governance or those who need a refresher of the framework required for good information Governance.

This course is for anyone new to Information Governance and those who would benefit from a refresher of the framework required for good information governance to be performed in your company or organisation. The course provides a one-stop shop for an organisation to develop all the tools (Information Asset Register, Business Classification Schemes for example) and to identify the key roles, governance structures and accountability that can be assigned in the organisation. We will present practical scenario’s to consider and discuss in our Information Governance training.

  • The role of the DPO, SIRO and Caldicott Guardian
  • Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)
  • Information Asset Owners & Administrators roles and responsibilities
  • Information Asset Register
  • Data Flow mapping
  • Building an information management culture
