Eastern City Secret Gardens Tour
Discover the City’s hidden pockets of greenery on the Eastern City Secret Gardens Tour!
This carefully curated walk will highlight how nature is being woven into the urban landscape of the Eastern City BID area.
On the walk we will spend time in the historic charm of Seething Lane where we will meet famous diarist Samuel Pepys; we will pause in the serene church gardens of St Michael Cornhill and St Peter upon Cornhill learning about their historic connections; and visit George Yard, the George and Vulture Pub, a favourite of the author of the book "A Christmas Carol", Charles Dickens.
The walk will demonstrate how even small, carefully nurtured green spaces can transform the urban environment into a more liveable, resilient, and vibrant place.
