CaribOx Showcase
Come meet the 2026 CaribOx Fellows and Travel Grant holders and celebrate Caribbean scholarship at our annual research Showcase!
The Caribbean Oxford Initiative (CaribOx) is a Visiting Fellowship and Travel Grant scheme that facilitates research trips for researchers working in the Caribbean to visit the University of Oxford.
This year’s visitors are cultural anthropologist Dr Isar Godreau from the University of Puerto Rico ( collaborating with Professor Arathi Sriprakash in the Department of Education); historian and heritage researcher Dr Tara Inniss from The University of the West Indies, Barbados; Haitian entomologist and ecologist Dr Pierre Michard Beaujour from the Caribaea Initiative; and geographer Dr Shenika McFarlane-Morris from The University of the West Indies, Jamaica.
Join us for an opportunity to meet and listen to the 2026 Visiting Fellow and Travel Grant holders as they briefly discuss their CaribOx research. While celebrating a second successful year of the scheme, there will be drinks and an opportunity to network.
