Join us for a screening of Sentimental Value (2025), a Scandinavian film about two daughters and their estranged father, exploring memory, family and the power of art. Following the screening, there will be the chance to hear from a panel on a range of topics from Scandinavian cinema to representations of division both within the movie and the wider European context, and ask any questions you may have.

This is the second of two screenings organised by the University of Liverpool European Affairs Society a part of the Liverpool European Festival, the first screening is Love Me Tender on 4 June. Hosted by the Liverpool European Partnership in collaboration with the University of Liverpool European Affairs Society, Young European Movement and the Institute of Irish Studies.
