The Science of Attraction Quiz

Ever wondered what is happening in your brain during attraction? Curious about why your heart races around someone you like? Assemble a team and test your knowledge in our Science of Attraction Quiz!

Join Megan Young, an Imperial College London Clinical Research Fellow and PhD Candidate, to uncover the surprising science of kisspeptin—a hormone that helps regulate reproductive hormones and is linked to attraction, emotion and desire. Explore how hormones influence mood through the music round and unravel the mysteries of love and the brain in the picture round.

You can join the quiz solo or as part of a team. Prizes to be won for the the top scores and for best team names!

This event is part of Science Cabaret at the Great Exhibition Road Festival on 6-7 June 2026.

The event takes place in a zone for people aged 18+ only. People younger than 18 will not be allowed entry into the building.

Please arrive at the venue 10 minutes before the start time. Your ticket gives you priority access, however, as this is a free event if you do not arrive 10 minutes before the start time your space may be reallocated. Early arrival reduces this risk.
