We are a registered charity which is run by parent/carer volunteers with children/young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.  We organise parent participation, providing the opportunity to talk about all the services they receive in Derbyshire.Derbyshire Parent Carer Voice has been set up to help parents have a  forum for change within Derbyshire services.Parent Forums are making real changes to the way councils work with regard to parents, carers and children and young people.

SEND reforms explained: what’s in the White Paper, what’s missing, and what could happen next.

This sessions are designed to support parent carers to understand what is being proposed, what is missing, and what may happen next.The sessions will cover:<ul><li>What the White Paper says</li><li>What the White Paper does not say</li><li>What happens next</li></ul>This session will be facilitated by Fleur Roseblade, Independent SEN Advisor, Trainer and Advocate from First Look SEN.
