Join us on 6th of July for the Ballymena stop of the SPEAR Roadshow.
This workshop is designed for SMEs and companies across the cross-border region who are interested in exploring or adopting photonics and AI-driven solutions. It will provide practical insights into how these technologies can be applied to drive innovation, improve processes, and support business growth.
Each event will include a complimentary lunch and dedicated networking time, offering a chance to connect with other SMEs and engage with the SPEAR project team and partners.
Who should attend?
This event is ideal for businesses in sectors such as manufacturing, MedTech, AgriTech, IoT, Construction and related industries looking to innovate, scale and compete internationally.
As a PEACEPLUS-funded project, it is specifically aimed at SMEs across the 12 counties of the cross-border region.

About the SPEAR Centre
The Semiconductor Photonics Education and Research (SPEAR) Centre aims to support SMEs through expert-led innovation support, practical R&D solutions, and access to skills, training and collaboration opportunities.
The Centre is a collaborative, cross-border partnership led by Atlantic Technological University, with project partners Ulster University and Tyndall National Institute and industry input from Seagate. Together, they are building a connected research and industry cluster across the North West region.

The SPEAR Centre is a €8.46 million project supported by the PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
