Guest Speaker - Tim Dock

Tim has been brought up going to church since he was born. Despite being his Sunday school teacher’s worst nightmare, he has been gradually maturing over the years. Mission trips as a youth and leader have deepened his faith and reliance on God. Tim has been involved in youth work for over 18 years, despite not looking old enough, and one of his absolute favourite things is seeing children and youth connecting with God. He goes to Life Church, Peterborough where he is a youth leader and worship leader.

He is often described as a big child, and ironically, his kids don’t recognise him when putting on his “telephone voice” for his day job as a financial adviser. He goes all-in in whatever he does which, in most things, is good but not swimming as he can’t float. He is married to Kim and they have 3 children and just as many cats.

Theme - Wonder

What does it mean to truly be in awe? This year’s Letton Hall Houseparty is all about ‘Wonder’. Across the week, we’ll be exploring just how vast, powerful, and beyond comparison God really is. Using ideas and images from the Bible and the world around us, we’ll stretch our imagination to catch a glimpse of His greatness — not to fully explain Him, but to realise He is far bigger than anything we can grasp. Our hope is that we won’t just learn more about God, but that we’ll be genuinely amazed by Him — left in awe and wonder at the One who paid it all. The God who is closer than we think, yet greater than we can imagine. Join us for four days of discovering more of who God is, growing together, and letting that sense of wonder shape the way we live.

Important Information About Additional Needs

We aim to make Letton Hall Houseparty a safe and enjoyable experience for all. However, residentials can be intense environments, and they require young people to engage positively with the programme and follow instructions to help keep everyone safe.

We welcome young people with additional needs, and we will make reasonable adjustments where we can. However, we are not able to provide specialist or 1:1 support, and some high-level behavioural or additional needs may mean we cannot safely meet a young person’s requirements within our volunteer-led setting.

If your young person has additional needs, please contact CROPS before booking so we can talk through their needs and explore together whether Letton Hall Houseparty is the right fit for them.

Funded Places: We have available for those who need financial support, funded places. We can provide full or part funded places. Please contact CROPS to discuss this. Your enquiry will be dealt with in the strictist confidence.

* We take seriously the aftercare and ongoing support of young people who attend our events, including any needed follow up and contact with local youth workers/churches that we work with. Therefore, Letton Hall Houseparty is open to those in school years 7 – 13, who live in the greater Peterborough area/ and or 'PE' postcodes, or attend a church in those areas.
