Artists explore eco-social change across digital and local worlds, asking: how can we spark deeper nature connection in both spaces?

<h3>What happens online doesn’t stay online. </h3>In OnLife: Artist Conversations, we explore how our digital and physical worlds shape one another - and how artists can inspire positive eco-social change across both. Algorithms, platforms, and digital cultures influence how we understand and navigate our surroundings, how we relate to each other, and even how we treat other species.These conversations sit within Reimagine This Coastal Town, a hyperlocal eco-social project rooted in Felixstowe but connected to global movements. These conversations sit in the context of recent reports showing the UK’s low levels of nature connectedness, the growing pull of online spaces for young people, and the urgent need to decarbonise - and decolonise - the web, and how we might be able to help.Onlife describes the hyperconnected human condition where online and offline merge. The concept was coined by Luciano Floridi to explain how digital technologies reshape experience, public space, ethics, and everyday life. Floridi, L. (ed.)
