Is this event accessible by public transport

Yes. The X58 bus between Kirkcaldy and Edinburgh stops at the Esplanade/Promenade near Morrisons and Lidl.  The No.7 bus (Dunfermline–Kirkcaldy–Leven) stops at the Kinghorn Road / Seafield Road junction.

Is there parking available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, free parking is available at Seafield Beach car park. Other car parks at the Esplanade/Promenade.

What should I bring?

Comfortable shoes, weather‑appropriate clothing, water, and a small snack. We will provide light refreshments and all painting materials are supplied.

Are toilets available?

Accepted Answer

Toilets are available at Morrisons and at the Esplanade/Promenade before the walk begins. There are no toilets along the coastal path or at Seafield Tower, so please use the facilities before we set off.

Is the walk suitable for buggies or wheelchairs?

Some parts of the coastal path are uneven and may not be suitable for buggies or wheelchairs.

Is this event suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

Yes, children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Are dogs allowed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, well‑behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Please clean up after your dog.

How long is the walk?

Accepted Answer

The walk is approximately 2–3 km taken at a relaxed pace with plenty of stops to explore the shoreline and coastal path.

What happens if the weather is bad?

The event will go ahead in light rain. In severe weather, we will contact attendees by email with updates.
