Do I need my camera on during this event?

Accepted Answer

Yes, this is an interactive meeting. It is offered free in exchange for all participants willing to have cameras on and microphones ready for breakout rooms. If you are not in a location that allows you to interact, or you choose not to interact, then this meeting is not for you currently.

Do I need to let the host know if I cannot make the meeting after registering?

Accepted Answer

As this is a free event, it tends to have over 400 people register and about a quarter turn up. This is usual for free events and so no need to notify the host if your plans change and you can no longer attend. Do look out for the next meeting as they are generally monthly.

Question 3

I haven't started my business yet, can I still attend this meeting?

Accepted Answer

Yes, do join for inspiration and motivation. The group is wonderfully supportive and when it's time in the breakout room to share about your business, feel free to share your idea and any type of service you are looking for that will help you launch your business (eg. website developer).

Question 4

What happens if I face technical difficulties joining/during the event?

Accepted Answer

Try exiting the Zoom meeting, and then joining again. If that doesn't work then try loggin in from a different device, such as a phone or tablet.

Question 5

How do I join the event on Zoom?

Accepted Answer

The event will be hosted on Zoom and you will be emailed the login details with your ticket confirmation. You will also be emailed a reminder of the Zoom login details on the day of the event. You do not need a Zoom account to be able to join this "meeting". Simply click on the join link.

Question 6

I cannot see the button to buy a ticket. What do I do?

If you are using an iPhone, the Eventbrite App is having a problem whereby it doesn't display the button to buy a ticket. We recommend either opening Eventbrite in your internet browser, or use a computer / tablet to view the Eventbrite listing.

How do I find out the start time in my local time zone?

Accepted Answer

Liz recommends the below time zone converter website. Enter the event location city and you can put this as London UK. Then enter your own city or nearest city, the website will automatically convert the time: https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html

Will there be a recording?

Accepted Answer

No, as these meetings are interactive and need to be experienced "live".
