ASCape offer Autism friendly after school activities, youth clubs, monthly family activity days and wellbeing events for parents and carers.We have 4 broad age categories: 0 - 7 'Mini ASCape, 8 - 11, 12 - 17 'Teens and nearly Teens' and 18 - 25 '18+'. We also have a Parents and Carers' support group.

Please use dropped pin here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/5BN4Em3y7vuUNurn7 or What3Words: nowadays.visitor.somethingPlease leave plenty of time to find it so we can start at 2pm.Join us for an afternoon of fun, nature-based activities for the whole family in a beautiful field near Askerswell, hosted by Thriving Wild CIC.The activities will be led by Clare, Georgia, and Raja from Thriving Wild. We will then split into two groups to enjoy a range of activities, swapping halfway through the afternoon, with a break for snacks and storytelling in between.At the end of the day, we’ll gather together again to send our summer wishes off to the sun and say goodbye.Things you can try:<ul><li>Hapa zome – this is the wonderful technique of bashing leaves and flowers into fabric to release their beautiful natural colours and patterns. Create a hapa zome butterfly, flag, or bandana.</li><li>If the sun is shining, roam through the grasses with a butterfly net. What butterflies will you discover?</li><li>Have a go at striking a spark and making a small “fairy fire”.</li><li>Using clay and natural materials, make a simple puppet or creature to take home.</li><li>Make a floating candle. We’ll use them together at the end of the afternoon to send our summer wishes off to the sun.</li></ul>There will also be time to relax in a hammock or enjoy a swing.While activities may change depending on the weather, this will be a joyful afternoon of nature-based fun for the whole family - rain or shine! We are offering three pricing options so families can choose the rate that best reflects their circumstances*. If you are able to choose the Supporter rate, you help another family attend an ASCape event at a reduced cost. Parent-carers do not need a separate ticket.
