Groundwork East is a community and environment charity working across the East of England to change places and lives. We are proud to have been championing practical community action that benefits the natural world since 1985, running programmes to transform unloved green spaces, get people outside enjoying the natural world and supporting businesses to reduce their environmental impact.

Water Literacy Programme

The Water Literacy Programme is a training course delivered across all aspects of the community.

The Water Literacy Programme has the potential to be more than a course. It is a movement, driving you to turn a drop of knowledge into a wave of change. You will be equipped with innovative tools, strategies, and the knowhow needed to become accredited as water literate. But you do not just leave with an accreditation. You will be empowered to lead your colleagues, support your communities, and influence your industry to consciously adopt a sustainable water-use approach. Because our collective actions create ripples, turning into waves of change, reshaping practices, policies, and perceptions of water where you live and work.The course is a full day of learning (7 hours in total) split over two days and will take place on Wednesday 15th July @ 13.00-16.30 and Friday 17th July @ 9.30-13.00.
