<a href="https://www.sophieburrows.com/" title="https://www.sophieburrows.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sophie Burrows</a> is a Sussex based internationally published writer and illustrator. Best known for her V&amp;A Award winning debut graphic novel Crushing. Other titles include Weird Sea (Penguin), The Weirdest Wonders on Earth (Penguin) and Ig Pig and Og Frog (David Fickling Books). Sophie has also illustrated a grant funded project alongside postdoctoral researchers at Queen Mary University of London, Pathologies of Solitutude and a self-published collection of 12 comic strips, Get Me Snickers. She teaches on the MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge school of Art, frequently facilitates workshops and is a mentor to illustrators at all career levels.
