Discipleship Deficit 6 months on
Join us for a one‑hour online Roundtable designed to help you turn the inspiration of Ekklesia 2026 into practical, lived‑out change in your church or organisation.
Many of us leave conferences with fresh conviction and a clear sense of what God is calling us to do next. But once we’re back in the rhythm of ministry, those intentions can easily slip. The Ekklesia Roundtables exist to bridge that gap, creating space for accountability, shared learning, and encouragement as we take real steps forward.
This September, we’ll gather online at 11am on Thursday 24th September. Joe Warton, who spoke on Confronting the Discipleship Deficit (watch his talk from Ekklesia 2026 here), will help guide the conversation as we reflect together on what we’ve implemented since the conference and what we’re learning along the way.
Before then, here’s what we invite you to do:
1 - If you haven’t already, decide on one or two specific things you want to implement in your church, group, or organisation – based on what stood out to you from the conference. If you don’t have your notes to hand, you may find this summary helpful.
2 - Have a go at implementing whatever change it is you’ve decided to make.
3 - Reflect on how that process went:
- What went well?
- What (if anything) was hard?
- What do you think the impact of this change has been, or could be?
- What have you learnt from this process?
4 - Be there at 11am on Thursday 24th September, ready to share your learning.
If you weren't at Ekklesia 2026 then you are of course still welcome to come!
