UK MPS: Talking Technology

Join us again at Eight Club Moorgate in London on September 29th from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm as we dig into the role technology can play to further enable growth and increased efficiency across the UK's Model Portfolio Service (MPS) market.

Brought to you by The Wealth Mosaic (TWM), this will be the second event as part of our broader UK MPS Project (see introduction to the project below), and will focus on the critical role technology plays in the effective and efficient delivery of the MPS model for all four parties to the model - the client, adviser, asset manager/DFM and platform.

Mixing presentations, a panel or two, and technology demos/presentations, the event will cover:

• The role technology plays today
• Its strengths and weaknesses
• The areas where technology must focus and improve
• A future view of what is possible

The UK MPS market has witnessed significant growth in recent years, and this is set to continue over the next five years. This reflects the unique position of the model at the intersection of client, advisers and product provider needs. But there is no escaping that the sector is weighed down by a lack of technological capability and connectivity. As the UK MPS evolves and becomes more complex, the manual effort required to maintain the models across platforms and buyers is becoming untenable. The industry must further embrace and find technologies better that support their needs, or growth will either be curtailed or hugely inefficient.

The MPS space might be the perfect meeting point of manufacturing and distribution, but its technological backbone is weak. This event will focus on where it can add and find strength.

We invite participants in the marketplace to join us to discuss the role of technology in meeting the needs and goals of the fast-growing and dynamic UK MPS marketplace.

TWM UK MPS Project

This event is part of our broader UK MPS Project, which we first announced at our previous event in May 2026 (UK MPS: A View into the Future). The project will mix outputs, including a market overview report, an annual research study, ongoing panel, demo, networking, and roundtable events focused on relevant aspects of this market segment, a variety of supporting is the start of a wider project from TWM and its partners mixing elements of our online directory and content resource, research, content, reports and events
