LGBTQ+ and Neurodivergent Led Forest Therapy (Group of 2)

Overview

Discover the profound healing power of forest therapy and how you can cultivate presence, peace, clarity and well-being in your life.

Discover the profound healing power of forest therapy and how you can cultivate presence, peace, clarity and well-being in your life. Join me on a journey to rediscover your connection to the natural world.

Forest therapy, also known as 'forest bathing' which translates as 'Shinrin-Yoku' in Japanese, is a research-based, nature-intervention practice that supports healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments. It's more than just a walk; it's an opportunity to mindfully engage your senses and experience the restorative benefits of nature.

Expect a 2-hour session at Danbury Ridge Nature Reserve where you will be encouraged to engage with sensory invitations, enjoy a 3-minute meditation, followed by a poetry reading and tea ceremony to conclude the session. Led by a certified LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent forest therapy practitioner.
