The session will explore how breathing patterns interact with stress physiology, nervous system regulation, emotional wellbeing, recovery capacity and behaviour change.


Participants will gain a practical understanding of common signs of stress-related and dysfunctional breathing patterns, restoration versus activation approaches and how simple breath-based practices may support both coach and client self-regulation.


The webinar will also explore how to recognise when clients may be relying on stimulation or activation-based coping strategies despite needing deeper recovery and restoration support.

Participants do not need prior breathwork experience.

About Pavla Borg


Pavla Borg is a UKIHCA-Registered Health Coach, Stress Management Coach and breathwork educator based in Malta. She integrates evidence-informed breathing practices, nervous system regulation, health coaching and mind-body approaches to support stress resilience, emotional wellbeing and sustainable behaviour change.


Her professional background includes training in the Wim Hof Method, SOMA Breath, Oxygen Advantage, Heroic Coaching and Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching. She is also a certified Terrain Advocate with a particular interest in metabolic health, stress physiology, nervous system regulation and preventative wellbeing.


Originally trained in Economics and Finance (BSc, MSc), Pavla combines analytical thinking with embodied coaching approaches to help individuals and groups better understand the relationship between physiology, behaviour, recovery and performance. Her work focuses on making breath-based practices practical and applicable within everyday life and professional coaching settings.
