WE RESTART is a non-profit organization that uses art to empower communities, promote diversity, and improve well-being. Through public art projects, cultural events, and workshops, they create awareness on global issues such as climate change, inclusion, and social justice. The organization also supports disadvantaged young people and refugee artists, providing them with access to the arts and helping them to rebuild their lives. WE RESTART advocates for the active role of women in promoting positive change and believes that everyone should have access to the healing power of the arts.

Ark Academy

Join us for Brent Refugee Week Celebration 2026, a vibrant afternoon of culture, creativity, music, food and community at Ark Academy, Wembley.This free family-friendly event brings together local residents, artists, musicians, community groups and organisations from across Brent to celebrate the richness, diversity and strength of our borough.Enjoy delicious food from around the world, live music and performances, art exhibitions, creative workshops for children and adults, and activities for all ages. Meet the organisations that make up the Brent Borough of Sanctuary network and discover the wide range of services, opportunities and support available to Brent residents.Taking place on Father's Day, this is a special opportunity to come together with family, friends and neighbours to celebrate community, belonging and the positive contribution that everyone brings to Brent.Admission is free and everyone is welcome.Prize Draw All attendees aged 16 and over who register and attend the event will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a £100 London Designer Outlet (LDO) voucher.Come along, bring your family, and help us make this year's celebration bigger, brighter and more welcoming than ever. The event is organised by Brent Council, in collaboration with the Human Rights Festival by We Restart - Art Centre of Sanctuary, Useful Productions, and Salusbury World.
