Hi, I’mAileen Whiteand I’ve been serving families for the past12 years since overcoming Tokophobia (fear of childbirth) and becoming a parent myself.I love to see people transform and grow from fear, into love for themselves and their family and others.  This process of change can take time, it can be a life's work, so be patient with yourself.In the sessions I offer, you will find a safe space to be heard and not fixed.  I invite you to listen, learn and discover in a way that suits you.  This might include silence or talking, art or creative writing, walking or being still.I recognise you can experience change and growth through all your senses so I purposely will offer creative ways for you to work things out for yourself using all those senses.If you are joining us online, do get a snack, drink, choose a comfortable relaxing place in your house and perhaps add a little quiet music to set the scene at home.My Birth Support CICis a registered Community Interest Company and we offer you bespoke support over the Internet or face to face in and around Canterbury, UK in groups or individually.You can find out morehere.  Wherever possible, we seek to make this support affordable, offering everything on a pay-what-you-can-basis and making further concessions available for low income families. Thanington Neighbourhood Resource Centre

It's been 5 years!We've been supporting family mental health and emotional wellbeing for 5 years as a CIC - celebrating and prioritising you as a parent, to enable you to better care for your family. So it's time to PARTY!Join us on Thursday 18th June with:<ul><li>cake</li><li>family photos from Dover Media Company</li><li>facepainting for the adults (and preschoolers if it's okay with your parents!) by the wonderful Mrs Jelllybaby Facepaints</li><li>temporary tattoos for the adults, glow in the dark tattoos for the kids</li><li>virgin cocktail bar to make your own creative design</li><li>ice lollies to help us cool down if it's hot and</li><li>an encouraging meditation/visualisation (preschoolers, do bring along your favourite teddy for this part!)</li></ul>Please come and celebrate with us, if you want to, dress for the occasion iwear your favourite outfit too!<blockquote>"Whether you are a regular, haven't attended in ages or have never been before we look forward to celebrating with you." Aileen xx</blockquote>Booking for each adult and pre-schooler is essential to help ensure safe numbers in the hall and thanks to grants is free for everyone (babes in arms don't need a ticket). Mrs Jellybaby Facepaints is so creative:

School run and arrivals: You can come straight from the school run (if you do one) and enjoy the festivities while others arrive. We will start at 9.30 and have activities from 10.00. You can head off when you need to and we will pack away at 11.30.Pre-schoolers and babies are welcome: You're pre school children are welcome, there will be toys for them to play while you enjoy yourself. Please do book them a ticket along with yours.Getting to Thanington Resource Centre, Canterbury:Thanington Road is on the bus route out of Canterbury to Ashford, up Wincheap Road. The Centre is only 5 minutes walk from Wincheap park and ride. There is plenty of parking, friendly staff and accessible toilets for us to use.Introducing Aileen (and one of ther favourite teddies!) :

The transition into parenthood is daunting and overwhelming then as they grow and change, we change too and we still need support!
